How we look after each other

Community guidelines

The Residence Support Committee forum is a space for residents of Major Housing Association to support each other. To keep it friendly and useful, please:

  1. Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, hate speech, threats or personal attacks.
  2. Protect privacy. Don't post anyone's phone number, full address, photos or private details, including your own. Don't name individual staff or neighbours in complaints.
  3. Stay on topic. Post in the right category and search before starting a new topic.
  4. No adverts or spam. Occasional community notices are fine; commercial selling is not.
  5. Use the right channel for repairs and emergencies. The forum is for discussion. To report a repair, or in an emergency, contact Major Housing Association directly.
  6. Report problems. Use the “Report” link on any post that breaks these rules. Moderators may edit or remove posts and suspend accounts.
